24 Hours of Spa
About The
Event
The 24 Hours of Spa is the centerpiece of the international GT racing season and one of the world’s most prestigious endurance races. First held in 1924, the event challenges an enormous GT3 field across a complete day and night at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The seven-kilometer circuit follows the natural elevation of the Belgian Ardennes through Eau Rouge and Raidillon, the Kemmel Straight, Pouhon, Blanchimont, and the Bus Stop chicane. Rapidly changing weather can affect different parts of the circuit simultaneously, adding another layer of uncertainty. A town parade, night practice, Superpole, extensive support racing, and 24 hours of competition make Spa a complete motorsport festival rather than a single race.
