8 Hours of Indianapolis
About The
Event
The Indianapolis 8 Hour brings international GT endurance racing to one of motorsport’s most historic venues. The 14-turn road course incorporates sections of the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval and carries competitors across the Yard of Bricks before the race continues into darkness.
The 2026 event serves as the championship finale for both GT World Challenge America and the Intercontinental GT Challenge. It is also the final Indianapolis 8 Hour before the American eight-hour event moves to Texas in 2027. Qualifying, a Pole Shootout, eight hours of racing, and championship celebrations create a fitting final chapter for the event at the Brickyard.
