About The
Event
GT World Hungaroring marks the championship’s return to Hungary and serves as the 2027 Sprint Cup finale. The circuit sits within a natural bowl outside Budapest, providing elevated viewing areas across its compact and technical layout. Corners arrive in quick succession through the middle of the lap, leaving drivers little time to recover from a mistake and making qualifying especially important. Two one-hour races will decide the Sprint Cup’s driver, team, and class championships. The combination of a returning venue and a championship finale gives the weekend particular significance.
