About The
Event
The Nürburgring 24 Hours sends a vast field onto the combined Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife, creating a lap of more than 15 miles through the Eifel forest. More than 70 corners, major elevation changes and unpredictable weather make the circuit known as the Green Hell one of racing’s ultimate tests. The event’s character extends around the entire course, where hillside campgrounds and trackside viewing areas create a festival atmosphere deep into the night. Watching the race move from daylight into darkness, through sunrise and toward its final afternoon is one of endurance racing’s defining experiences.

Qualifying and Night Running
Friday brings increasingly competitive qualifying as teams pursue positions in the final shootout. Remain at the circuit after sunset for night running, when headlights trace the course through the forest and the campgrounds surrounding the Nordschleife come fully alive.
