Event
The Qatar 1812 KM opens the 2027 WEC season with an extended-distance race at Lusail International Circuit. The flowing layout combines a long front straight with linked medium and high-speed corners that place an emphasis on rhythm and consistency. The race distance commemorates Qatar’s National Day on December 18 and creates a contest lasting up to 10 hours. Beginning in daylight and continuing beneath Lusail’s floodlights, the event provides a striking introduction to the new championship season.
