Qatar Grand Prix
About The
Event
The Qatar Grand Prix brings Formula 1 beneath the floodlights at Lusail International Circuit, a fast and flowing track dominated by medium- and high-speed corners. The sustained sequences reward commitment and place significant physical demands on drivers throughout the race.
A main straight measuring more than one kilometer provides the circuit’s clearest overtaking opportunity into Turn 1, while the remainder of the lap unfolds through relentless, interconnected corners. As the penultimate round of the 2026 championship, Qatar may determine which title battles remain alive for the finale. Night racing, high-speed performance, and warm late-November conditions give the event a distinctive character outside Doha.
