Road America
About The
Event
GT World Road America brings three-hour GT racing to one of America’s fastest and most historic road courses. Road America’s four-mile layout has remained largely unchanged since 1955, preserving its long straights, major elevation changes, and celebrated sections such as the Carousel, the Kink, and Canada Corner.
The circuit’s scale allows the race to develop across a sweeping, high-speed lap, while wooded paths and hillside viewing areas give spectators opportunities to experience several distinct sections. A GT car parade through nearby Elkhart Lake opens a weekend centered on speed, history, and one of American motorsport’s most revered circuits.

GT Parade in Elkhart Lake
Arrive in Wisconsin and begin the weekend in the village of Elkhart Lake, where GT race cars leave the circuit for a special community parade. See the cars up close, join the gathering of teams and fans, and experience the anticipation before on-track competition begins.
The Circuit Comes Alive
Enter Road America for the first full day of track activity. GT3 cars stretch their legs during testing and opening practice, while GT4, touring-car, single-make, and additional sports car categories fill the schedule. Use the day to explore the paddock and discover viewing areas across the four-mile circuit.
A Full Day of Sports Car Racing
Watch the GT World Challenge America field complete its final practice sessions while the support championships deliver close racing throughout the day. Move around the circuit to experience the speed of the Kink, the braking battles at Canada Corner, and the sweeping elevation changes that define Road America.
Qualifying, Grid Walk, and the Three-Hour Race
Begin with GT3 qualifying as both drivers fight to secure the strongest possible starting position. Meet competitors during the driver autograph session, then walk among the cars during the pre-race grid experience. The weekend culminates with three hours of GT racing and a final charge to the checkered flag.
Departure
Depart Wisconsin or extend the stay in Elkhart Lake and the surrounding Kettle Moraine region.
