Event
GT World Watkins Glen marks the championship’s return to the historic New York circuit for the first time since 2022. The race uses Watkins Glen International’s 3.4-mile Grand Prix course, including the Boot, to create one of the fastest and most flowing laps on the schedule.
The circuit climbs rapidly through the Esses before carrying cars into the Inner Loop, the Carousel, and the extended corners of the Boot. High speeds, sustained cornering, elevation changes, and close barriers reward confidence and commitment. Watkins Glen’s racing heritage and natural amphitheater setting make its return a significant addition to the 2027 calendar, while the surrounding Finger Lakes provide a scenic backdrop for the three-hour event.

GT Racing Returns to the Glen
Enter Watkins Glen International as GT3 cars return to the Grand Prix course for the first official sessions of the weekend. Explore the paddock and experience the speed of the Esses and the extended Boot section from different viewing areas.
Qualifying and a Full Day of Racing
Watch qualifying as drivers attack one of the fastest laps of the season in pursuit of pole position. Support championships provide racing throughout the day, accompanied by available driver appearances and fan activities.
The Three-Hour Race
Attend the scheduled pre-race activities and any available grid walk before the field charges toward the Esses. Watch the three-hour race unfold around the full Grand Prix course, then remain for the podium celebration marking the championship’s return to Watkins Glen.
