WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
About The
Event
IMSA’s 2027 visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, a circuit defined by elevation and one of motorsport’s most recognizable corner sequences. The climb toward the Corkscrew ends in a blind crest and dramatic downhill change of direction, followed by the fast descent through Rainey Curve. The circuit’s dry landscape, limited grip and significant elevation make it a demanding venue across every lap. The two-hour and 40-minute race offers a fitting celebration of seven decades of competition on the Monterey Peninsula.
