Zandvoort
About The
Event
GT World Zandvoort places two Sprint Cup races on a compact circuit shaped by the dunes of the Dutch coast. Elevation changes, blind crests, coastal winds, and limited runoff make the narrow layout especially demanding. The banked Hugenholtz and Arie Luyendyk corners allow drivers to use different lines and give Zandvoort a character unlike a conventional road course. Passing opportunities are limited, placing added importance on each qualifying session. Separate races on Saturday and Sunday provide two complete GT3 contests across an intense coastal weekend.
